LEEP 2012 MENuMasters Fundraiser

Le Mars Community Educational Enhancement Project (LEEP) hosted its first MENuMasters fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.

The event featured 32 local businessmen and community leaders as chefs for the evening of food and fun.

The event raised $24,500 for LEEP.

LEEP was organized in October 2009 as a fundraising body to help Le Mars Community Schools academics.

The group's mission statement reads: "To enhance the value and meaning of education for our students, families and communities."
