Skateboarding Fun

(Sentinel Photos by Allen Hamil) O’Toole Park was a buzz of activity on Sunday afternoon as community members, skateboard enthusiasts and city leaders descended upon the new skateboard park to attend the open house. Hundreds attended Sunday’s events which included live skateboarding and BMX bicycle demonstrations, food and drink provided by local vendors, and browsing local merchants selling appropriate sporting gear for skateboarders and bicyclists.
