Le Mars was a thriving town of activities in celebration of this year’s Ice Cream Days and Sesquicentennial Celebration. The parade kicked things off on Saturday morning as it saw more than 100 entries and entertained parade goers for an hour and a half. Activities didn’t slow down, from enjoying a match of polo, to taking a step back in time on Sunday at the Plymouth County Fairgrounds. Children enjoyed old style games, while adults enjoyed watching fellow community members battle it out in a fun game of cricket under the clock tower.
