A celebration years in the making

Le Mars Police Chief Kevin Vande Vegte along with his fellow officers, staff, city officials, Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce representatives, and community members, gathered on Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of the police department’s new facility. After several attempts to bring a state-of-the-art facility to the community, the dream was finally realized when the first phase of the project was completed in 2018.
