MMCRU - Remsen Elementary presents “Twas the Night Before Christmas”
MMCRU - Remsen Elementary presented their holiday concert “Twas the Night Before Christmas” on Thursday, December 6, 2018 under the direction of Music Director, Joan Wilberding. The Preschool, TK, and Kindergarteners started out the program with the following numbers, “Christmas is Coming”, “The Sugar Plums”, and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. The Third and Fourth graders took center stage next with their pieces, “St. Nick at Night”, “Blitzen’s Boogie”, and Reindeer on the Roof”. The First and Second graders then performed last their three numbers, “There’s Someone in the Chimney”, “When I Look at Santa”, and “To All a Good Night”. The last piece performed at the concert brought all the students together for the combined piece “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”. Speakers for the program included Brea Nicks, Sawyer Aduddell, Ian Dahl, Boston Colling, Gavin Poeckes, Faith Hengtgen, Thomas McKinney, Ayden Miller, Caleb Wurth, Angelique Hurtado, Mick Schnepf, Conner Galles, Tapika Nothem, Raya Staab, Jeff Braun, Taya Grage, Aiden Shea, Casaeda Nannen, Samantha Peterson, Carsten Schrooten, Brenden Stephenson, Mariana Moncada Matute, Josh Peterson, Tommy Koontz, RJ Krier, Karlie Loutsch, Karsen Galles, Alexis Gotto, Eli Harpenau, Tia Tentinger, and Elli Molzen. Ballerinas were Breanna Herman and Brynn Gengler. Blitzen was played by Elli Molzen. Jayda Decker provided Santa’s voice. Santa was Ethan Steffen.
