Honoring county heroes

The Kiwanis Aktion Club hosted its annual Cookies for Heroes event, Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Floyd Valley Conference Center. The heads of Le Mars’s first responder departments received special goodie baskets as a special thank you for all their hard work. In attendance included the Le Mars Police Dept., Le Mars Fire and Rescue, Plymouth County Sheriff’s Dept., and Le Mars Ambulance.
