(Sentinel Photos by Breeanna Pierce) Nearly 300 fourth grade students and teachers from across Plymouth County flooded the Plymouth County Historical Museum, April 30, for “May Day at the Museum.” The event, hosted by museum staff and approximately 40 volunteers, invited the students to tour the museum grounds and learn some county history. The visitors made there way through 14 different stations, from Dancing the May Pole in the “Old Central” gym with Tina Hansen of Central Dance Academy to seeing the Westmar Airplane with Dr. Wayne Marty and Wayne Schlotfeldt to enjoying root beer floats in the Miller’s Lunch diner with Delores Burkard, Carol Boylan, Julie Leaverton, and Norma Martfeld. Weber cabin originally was located in extreme western Plymouth County near the intersection of Hwy. 12 and K-18 north, south of Westfield.
