By: Megan Sabin The Remsen Chamber did a great job organizing the annual Easter Egg Hunt again this year. The Easter Egg Hunt started at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 this year with 134 kids in attendance. The Easter festivities included searching for eggs, Easter face painting, jelly bean guess, and meeting the Easter bunny. Most children started out with the Easter Egg Hunt, where children needed to collect six eggs and turn them in to pick out three prizes. These smaller prizes included bubbles, bracelets, rubber ducks, books, stampers, pencils, egg missiles, mini beach balls, egg scratch ornaments, and water guns. A big container of jelly beans was set up for kids to try to guess how many were in the container. Each child also received a bag of popcorn. Children also visited and took pictures with the Easter bunny and had a chance to get their face painted with bunny whiskers or a butterfly to name a few options. Children also made sure to enter their names in one of four age group drawings in hopes of winning one of the big prizes. Winners of these big prizes and the jelly bean guess were announced at around 10:30 a.m. There were many big winners at this years Easter Egg Hunt.
