This little girl was all smiles when meeting Santa at the Remsen Heritage Museum during the Olde Fashioned Christmas Celebration. Santa's elves helped hand out candy cane treats to all who visited with Santa.

The beautiful Christmas tree in the center square of downtown, donated by Ellen Ruhland, was lit by Santa at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, December 4, during the Olde Fashioned Christmas Celebration. The wind and snow didn't stop this gorgeous tree from shining.

American Bank served an array of meats and cheeses, plus some hot chocolate and coffee.

Elementary students from Remsen St. Mary's sang some carols by the fire pits to start off.

Though the weather outside was a little frightful, the fire pits, tended by the Remsen Fire Department, were very delightful at keeping Olde Fashioned Christmas guests warm.

Children picked out presents for their parents and loved ones at the Kids Korner, which was held in the building north of the City Council Chambers.
