On Friday, October 20, the Remsen Public Library hosted a Halloween Book Walk at 2 p.m. Many children participated in the fun adventure around the block. Older children and volunteers helped read the story "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves" to the younger children. Around the block were seven stations. At each station, the children stopped to listen to part of the story and pick up a piece for their scarecrow craft. Here the children listen to part of the story at one of the stations.

After the story, the library was full of children working on their scarecrow crafts with the pieces they picked up along their Book Walk.
