Victoria and her assistant Bonnie had the children be nature detectives, taking part in various activities in separate stations. Activities included a micro organism hunt, color scavenger hunt with beads, nature scavenger hunt, catching insects with nets, learning to use binoculars, and decorating fun bookmarks to take home and use. Before breaking up into smaller groups, Victoria shows the children different things found in nature, including a bird’s nest, rabbit and squirrel furs, and butterfly pictures, and explaining the different stations.
