Kids Days provides fun for the whole family

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Myriad} The VFW has a long line for the root beer floats on Monday, June 20, as Iowa State Bank offered free floats to all who came in. Besides floats, Christ Lutheran Church also offered taverns, brats, and other refreshments. 

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Myriad} The Knights of Columbus food stand was very busy with people ordering Majer burgers, hot dogs, pie, ice cream, and other refreshments.

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Myriad} The Remsen Heritage Museum was full of people on Monday of Kids Days, with many different displays for people to marvel at. 

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Myriad} These boys try their hands at the Ball game, trying to get as many balls in the holes to win a fun prize.

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Myriad} A classic carnival staple, the Carousel offered fun for young and old. 

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Myriad} Many adults and children played the Coin/Token Game. Players would buy tokens from the game operator and insert said tokens in a shooter and aim at the playing area. Players would then try to push plastic chips, tokens, and prizes off the front edge of the game to win prizes.

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Myriad} People at the top of the Ferris Wheel had a great view of Remsen and waved down at family and friends that were far below.
