Children of all ages enjoy Chamber Easter Egg Hunt

Thursday, April 20, 2017

The Remsen Chamber did a wonderful job organizing the annual Easter Egg Hunt, which started at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017. About 150 kids took part in the Easter festivities, which included searching for eggs, Easter face painting, and meeting the Easter bunny. Children all received a nice easter treat/goodie bag when they turned in their six eggs from the hunt. Children also entered their names in their age group drawing in hopes of winning one of the big prizes at the end. Winners were announced at around 10:30 a.m., with 12 winners in each of the four age groups. Remsen Chamber businesses that helped sponsor the Easter Egg Hunt this year included: Mouser's Digging & Pump Service, Golden Pheasant, Scheel's - Sioux City, Floyd Valley Healthcare, Homan Round Baling, Weiland Accounting, Leanne's Styles & More, VFW & American Legion, Maple Lanes Bowl, Fisch Funeral Home, Matgen Insurance, American Bank, Mrs. B's, Remsen Golf Course, Iowa State Bank, Knudson & Brady Law Firm, WesTel Systems, Arens Trucking, Burger Barn, Gengler Feed, Carl's Body Shop, Smith Insurance, Majeres Foodtown, Joiner & Zwart Dentistry, Perfect Petal, Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Catholic Order of Foresters, Town & Country Construction, and Wal*Mart - Le Mars. All of the children had a wonderful Easter experience.
