On Wednesday, April 27, the preschool through sixth grade presented their Spring concert. Miss. Steph Niewohner is the RSM Band Director and Mr. Jeremiah Garrigues-Cortelyou is the Choral Director. A few high school students were also on board as the concert was kicked off with a second grade music selection. Senior Christian Leadership Team (CLT) members then joined the second graders in song. The CLT were prayer partners with the second graders' as they prepared to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and their First Eucharist. The senior students participated in numerous activities where they got to know and mentor their younger prayer partners. Making music together was one of their activities, and all concert attendees benefited as the audience was serenaded with two tunes: "I'm Trading My Sorrows", and "There is This Need". Brady Harpenau and Keaton Bohnenkamp learned the songs on their mission trip to Honduras. They in turn taught it to the children in Honduras and thought it would be a great activity for the prayer partners. The second graders learned the songs in both Spanish and English.
