10th annual Art Pahl Accordion Festival April 15, 2012

Fourteen players performed in the Old Central gym at the Plymouth County Historical Museum. They included Walter Blom of Rock Valley, Pastor Peter Boe of Sioux City on keyboard, Dorothy Breuer of Ashton, Ruth and Wade Bruggeman of Charter Oak, Roger Christiansen of Storm Lake, Carla Drost of Sheldon, Lyle Koehlmoos of Granville, Preston Moerman of Sioux Center, Helen Moffatt of Akron, Jorgen Nielsen of South Sioux City, Neb., Sebastian Pahl of Jamestown, N.D., Audrey Rolfes of Alcester, S.D., and Martin Schreiner of Maurice. Pastor Gary Landsness served as emcee. Bill and Janice Renken, of Brunsville, provided the Art Pahl exhibit. Sebastian Pahl, the late Art Pahl's nephew, was the featured accordion player. Drost and Koehlmoos have played at the annual event for 10 years.
