This wooden nativity is part of the "Museum Manger" display at the Plymouth County Historical Museum through Jan. 8. This nativity set came from the museum's 2010 garage sale and was painted by a former museum board member, Lois Allen.

Nativity sets are on display in the Museum Manger at the Plymouth County Historical Museum. A Home Interior nativity, left, was shared by Sharon Popken, secretary at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Le Mars, Gary, a member of the museum board, and Judy Schindel shared a Willow Tree nativity, middle, and Ina Gatts, a member of United Methodist Church, Le Mars, shared a porcelain nativity set and wooden stable.

St. George's Episcopal Church, in Le Mars, donated this memorial nativity in memory of Clara Reichert, a lifelong member of the church as a gift from her daughter, Glada Koerselman to the Museum Manger.

This 40-year-old three-piece nativity set is on display in the "Museum Manger" at the Plymouth County Historical Museum. People had the opportunity to view the set donated by Betty Winterringer in memory of her husband, John, who was the gardener, the genealogist and the jack-of-all trades at the museum, according to information about the nativity set.

This "Anonymous Treasure" wooden nativity set is on display at the Plymouth County Historical Museum. People had a chance to view nearly 100 nativity sets during the museum's "Museum Manger" Sunday. The display is dedicated to the late Ron Burkard, who with his wife, Delores, started the "Museum Manger" last year.
