The short straw?

I'm heading to Iowa's very own Straw Poll this weekend to see which Republican presidential hopeful serves the best food or has the best live music at their tent.
Mike Huckabee, during his recent stop in Le Mars promised fresh watermelon and the tunes of his rock band, Capitol Offense. The watermelon stems from the fact that his hometown -- Hope, Arkansas -- is not only former president Bill Clinton's hometown, but also the site of the largest-recorded watermelon, some 295 pounds.
Another candidate is offering Famous Dave's food, and if you know anything about me, it's that I'm a pushover for barbecue sauce.
So it could be an interesting Saturday.
Oh, and I suppose I'll see which one gets Iowa's vote, too.

hmmm...yum! Perhaps the winner of the Straw Poll should be the candidate that can eat the most pounds of watermelon in one hour! If they really want our vote...they'll dig in...:)
I'd vote for whichever one would end the war, lower taxes while decreasing healthcare costs, and make this country a safer place to live.
