Interpreting the 2nd Amendment

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." (2nd Amendment)

I am not stating an opinion, rather asking for clarification;

Is there any reason that "Arms" does not allow an M1 rocket launcher, 2.36 inch, solid tube shoulder mount 'Bazooka'?

Or a shoulder grenade launcher?

And, if these fall under "arms," why not 16" battleship type guns? This, I think has been shot down (pun intended) because you cannot 'bear' it.

In the true sense as it is stated, these would be allowed

Sometimes amendments need amendment. Sometimes, a fence has to be built at the top of a cliff, rather than an ambulance waiting at the bottom.
