As gas prices averaged $3.12 across Iowa, the Des Moines area enjoyed $2.97. In fact, it has been below $3 for some time.
It is only fair - when Le Mars was getting two or three inches of snow we were blessed with more than a foot, enhanced by blizzard winds for about 24 hours. Comments Showing most recent comments first [Show in chronological order instead] |
Former Le Mars general contractor, businessman, president of the chamber of commerce, development corporation, and Sertoma. Four year Navy vet. Served on the hospital board and community theater board. Was mayor in the 1970's, state representative in the '80's. Was Governor Branstad's legislative advisor and deputy director of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Now retired, wife and I live on 6 acres south of Des Moines.

I would be very glad to be a PLY CO citizen! But, just back from DSM picking up the mother in law and gas is now down to $2.94!
We have been with out a blizzard and with $2.99 gas. Sounds like you should have stayed here. LOL
