Well, by now you have discovered the new layout of the website!

Now available to you are several additional features. I invite you to take a cruise around and check it out, and let us know what you think.

You can now view our top and most discussed stories of each day. You can also register as a user and comment on most current stories.

You may have already noticed that you can now find your current church directory, and your up to date community calendar. Starting this week, you will be able to click a button and submit your church directory changes directly to us. Also you will be able to submit your community calendar events directly to our social desk.

Items you may have noticed already are submission forms for weddings, birth announcements, engagements, and other items. The electronic forms allow you to submit your information via the website, for weddings, anniversaries and engagements you can also upload you photo for publication.

If you have a news story, or idea you would like to see us follow up on, you can submit your news item and photos/logos/documents through the website now.

We would also like to feature your photos. Photos of pets, the weather, something eye-catching that you are proud of. You can now just click a button and submit them directly to us.

Browsing through our photo galleries and purchasing photos has never been easier. Check out photos of recent events in your community, including sporting events.

Below our features you will see videos of recent events taken by your Daily Sentinel reporters.

On the bottom right side of the home page you can find digital editions of the special sections we provide and our weekly poll.

Last but not least, if you would like to be a blogger on our website now all you have to do is click on a 'Find Your Voice' ad, and apply directly to us with our online form.

I invite you to leave your comments and let us know what you think, and what you are looking for.

I noticed that you can no longer view births on the website. Is this going to be permantely disabled?

We have never posted births on the website before, if this is something you are interested in me adding as a feature, please let me know.

My name is Angel. I have come here to help you maneuver the website and introduce you to any new features we will have for you. Once in awhile I will blog about a topic or two or let you into my world. I don't have any children, but I do have nieces and nephews I can brag about. I rarely do anything exciting but work. BUT for those of you who have worked with me you know a day of work can be like a trip to the carnival! Angel out...
