Sitting behind the black curtains that hide the powerful media (ha), I just saw the Kingsley-Pierson girls run by to warm up.

Cheers are filling the huge arena at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids for the 1 p.m. matches and I'm sure Panthers fans are starting to stake out the best seats to watch K-P face Tripoli here in about 15 minutes or so.

I had a nice drive down to CR this morning, not a lot of traffic and no construction!! YAY! I enjoyed seeing the different fans in decorated cars and stopped at rest stops along the way - also in fun 'costumes'.

Hopefully the fans will bring some powerful noise to support the powerful hitting and serving of Briana Schaeuble and Amanda Dirksen. I can't wait to see these girls match up with Tripoli, who knocked off No. 1 Wapsie Valley in the semis.
