Kudos to 4-H

Being the "New Kid on the Block" this is my first fair in Plymouth County, and it was an experience I won't forget.

Growing up I was a 4-H'er myself. I remember one year my brownies earned a purple ribbon, which back then was top prize.

But I didn't take 4-H and competing at the fair nearly as seriously as the youth here do.

I mean look at they and their families dedication... it's awesome.

We always talk about teenagers and children that do bad things, but what about kids like these?

From rabbits to horses to photographs, they do it all. We can all learn from them. So to all you 4-H exhibitors out there...

Way to go!

And as you prepare, remember, it will be just as much fun next year.

After all, isn't the Plymouth County Fair the "Five Best Days of Summer."

Glad you enjoyed your first Plymouth County Fair...hopefully it wasn't the last. :-)

Grammar and punctuation: aren't those things important anymore?
