So this is my three month anniversary to the day at the Sentinel, what better day than to give you a little bit more about my life.

Throughout the years the Internet has been available to us it has made life a LOT easier. And something I've learned is that everyone in Le Mars and South Dakota uses the search engine Google.

During these first three months at the Sentinel I can't tell you how many times one or more of my colleagues has suggested I just "Google it."

And just this past week I heard 10 people talking about using Google to get information or suggesting I use it. One of those people was my doctor!

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the Internet or Google, but when my doctor suggests I use it I have to wonder what the world has become.

When you don't know the answer, don't ask someone who may just "Google It." Scary when it comes from a doctor.

And what about all those other search engines like Yahoo and MSN? What's wrong with those? Maybe I should Google it and find my answer.

Did you know if you Google, Google you get Google websites. It's pretty crazy. Google is even in an online dictionary.

So when you don't know the answer to something don't go to an expert in that field, just turn on your computer and Google It!
